I just want to know, will you be able to go from trans 2-1 to 3-1, or just 2-1 to 3-1? Like can you go from Whitesmith to Mechanic or just BS to MC?

Can't see it being balanced, if you remember, before Trans, Bards were only support, now they are support AND massive dps.

Alrighty, I`m up for some theorycrafting on the new priests skills, mainly ancilla and adoramus.

Ancilla mainly because I want to know if it will be storeable and tradeable, because if so, priests will be rich in no time, even with the 3 limit, 15%x3= 45%, considering most of people level 150 will have at least 99+ int, I`ll guess most of the bishops have 9000+ SP, 45% will be A LOT more than Grape J. or Blue Pot., even with high Int.

Now, into Adoramus, It`s a very nice skill, but overpowered in damage, priests aren`t supposed to deal 1200% damage(even if it have the blue gem cost), I know it`s too early to say anything, but 1200% damage is like one of the RK best skills and also adds debuffs of blind and slow(which will pwn dodge Rogues and Assassins). What I want to know is that, will the Slow be based on your Slow level or it will be aways the max?

Why priests got Silentium? It`s like wide silence, but actually can clean the silence of the other people, with a area of 15(next to Prot. Earth area), and it is stupid because it will be only used in WoE and in it most casters are isnta silenced, so if the caster do not dispel the lex divina, he will just jump in the area of this spell. If the developers changed lex to not cure silence on targets it would be more useable.

Clearance is bomb, if this get on the game, WoE will be easy. Lauda Spells are the same thing, I guess there will be a build just for that in WoE, Full Int, Vit `n Luk so you keep 90%+ to resist status and just keep spamming this skill so nobody get frozen, silenced and stuff, I guess those spells won`t make into the live, probally will be nerf`d.


Epiclesis and Oratio are the new grinding tools to reach 150.

Well, yes. That's how RO and most other games work, and there's no way around it.
It would be less of a problem if you wanted a class which does everything(MvP/PvM/PvP/WoE), but if you want to *play all classes*...

Or you could just make fifty novices and just keep making classes as you want, switching when you get bored :V

Well as in most MMOs there is an efficient way to do things. I -could- make 50 novices and level a different one when I get bored, but there is less distinction in what the base classes are capable of at points that it really just turns what I am doing into a massive, MASSIVE grind-fest. Really, how many times do you think I can grind wolves for levels before I just think the game is a POS instead of a fond memory?

I would like to relive the more joyful times I had with RO, but I think in wake of having the ability to play a single class and do what I want with it has made the "typical" approach as used by most older MMOs very aggravating. It feels almost like an artificial game play extension technique more than anything.

Look at WoW for example. If you make a paladin, guess what? You've made a PALADIN. You can go retribution (for melee, like a spear knight). You can go holy (for healer, like a priest or support monk). You can go protection (for a mental strength monk). WoW became wildly popular because it took what was so common in older MMOs (Death penalties, rigid class systems with no "redo" option, lack of quests and so on) and threw it all out the window. I guess I just with Gravity would go "Huh, you know those may just work with this game." and give it a go. Hell, they're doing the massive overhaul, what better time to work on mechanics to support the ability to re-imagine your character for a cost? Hell, even if it costs a few million zeny, at least I'd have a GOAL to work towards sometimes. I'd be poor with terrible gear because I'd be retooling my character on an almost weekly basis, but I'd have that OPTION. I guess I just want more options than it has.

Well RO was always a flagship of korean grindfests. Complaining about grinding is a little out of place. That's what RO - hell, all MMORPGs but two - is *about*.
I know there are people on chaos/loki who have all classes at 99 trans. Sometimes few of each. Once you get one trans, making others is much easier. Especially now when you can get to level 80 just by spending zeny(Repeatable XP quests, another thing i do not condone but would work very well for you).

RO doesn't get any update in like mileniums.
